As my title suggests I'm a microbiologist. I could talk about that for a while, but you can always just see my LinkIn page :) I specialize in studies on antimicrobial resistance, which is what has brought me here to Tromsø in Norway. I have many hobbies and passions such as drawing, photography, skiing, soccer, and traveling. My husband, Jesse, and I have spent the last several years exploring countless national parks in the Western US, Canada and Alaska. Recently, we've gotten a little more brave or ambitious in our travels and took a couple short trips to New Zealand, Australia, Mexico and Jamaica. The first time I came to Europe was in October 2014, after already deciding to move to Norway. I'm really looking forward to exploring Northern Norway, and I hope to travel more throughout Europe during the next 3+2 years. Yeah, we're a little crazy! But that's what makes life exciting, and we get the chance to see and experience new things. If you're interested you can follow with us on this crazy journey. I can't promise regular posts, but I hope to keep them coming! ** I do not claim to be an amazing photographer, but the photos on this site are my own. Please ask before reusing them.
